It is a political miracle that occurred today, Donald Trump is elected new President of the United States of America. The latter has already won 277 voters against 224 for Democrat Kamala Harris. The counting continues, notably in the four other “Swing States".
Donald Trump wins the first four key states in an astonishing style, Georgia, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. He also won Texas and Florida – where he spent election night with Elon Musk – as well as 21 other states: Indiana, Kentucky, West Virginia, Alabama, South Carolina, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Arkansas, North and South Dakota, Louisiana, Wyoming, Ohio, Nebraska, Missouri, Montana, Utah, Iowa, Kansas and Idaho.
For the first time in American history a president will have the legislative, judiciary and executive powers in his hands. This is because the Republicans have the majority from the Senate to the parliament and they also are responsible for the election a great number of key judges all over the country.
He will be the oldest US president to swear in to office in the entire history of the United States of America.
After his victory, Donald Trump received several congratulations from foreign leaders, from Emmanuel Macron to Benjamin Netanyahu, from Volodymyr Zelensky to NATO chief Mark Rutte, from British Prime Minister Keir Starmer to the head of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen.
