It is brought to the attention of young Cameroonians of both
sex wishing to make a career in the Defense Forces, that a competition for the
admission to the Joint Military School (EMIA)
will be organized on 08 and 09 May 2021
at the single center from Yaoundé, under the following channels and conditions:
I.
GENERAL
CONDITIONS OF CANDIDATURE
§
Be of Cameroonian nationality.
§
Be single without dependent children.
§
Enjoy their civic rights.
§
Be of good mental shape.
§
Have a minimum height of 1.67 meters for boys
and 1.60 meters for girls.
§
Be physically fit.
II.
SPECIFIC
CONDITIONS PER TRUNK
1. TRUNK “A” (Direct recruitment of civilians
holder of a BAC OR GCE A/L)
Number of seats: 125
§
Be born between December 31, 1998 and January 1,
2003.
§
Hold a BAC in any series or a GCE A/L with at
least two subjects except religion.
§
Have successfully completed at least one year of
higher education studies.
2. TRUNK “C” (Direct recruitment of civilians
holding a higher education diploma or an engineering diploma)
Number of seats: 40
§
Be born between December 31, 1995 and January
2003
§
Hold a higher education diploma or an
engineering diploma.
However, candidates will have to choose among the following
options on which they will compose: Computing,
Civil Engineering, Telecommunications, Law, Economics, Mathematics, Social
Science, Biology, Physical Sciences, International Relations, History,
Geography, Bilingual Letters, Political Sciences, Management.
3. TRONC B1 (Joint Staff Recruitment (NCOs
holding a BAC or GCE A/L)
Number of seats: 15
§
To be born as of December 31, 1991.
§
Hold a BAC or GCE A/L with at least three (3)
subjects except religion.
§
Total 05 years of service at least.
4. TRONC “B2(b) (Joint Recruitment, Staff NCOs
holding a higher education diploma or engineering diploma)
Number of seats:
05
§
Be born from December 31, 1989.
§
Hold a higher education diploma or engineering
diploma.
However, candidates will have to choose among the following
options on which they will write: Computer
Science, Civil Engineering, Telecommunications, Law, Economics, Mathematics,
Social Sciences, Biology, Physical Sciences, International Relations, History,
Geography, Bilingual Letters, Political Sciences and Management.

Total at least 05 years of service.
5. TRONC D (b) (Direct recruitment of
civilians holding a doctorate in general medicine, pharmacy, dental surgery, veterinarian)

Be born from December 31, 1991.
§
Have a doctorate in medicine.
6. TRUNK “D (C)”. (Direct recruitment of
civilian doctors with a speciality diploma)
Number of seats:
05

Be born on or after December 31, 1986.
§
Hold a speciality degree in medicine.

francs addressed to the Minister Delegate to the Presidency in charge of
Defence.

01 certified photocopy of your birth certificate
dated less than 3months.
§
01 certified photocopy of required diploma.
§
01 certified photocopy of success or of the
transcript of the first year of university studies ( Candidates of trunk A).

01 certificate of presentation of the original
of the diploma required.

01 Curriculum vitae.

01 certificate of nationality issued by a
competent authority (magistrate)

01 extract from criminal record, bulletin N° 3 dated
less than 3 months issued by a competent authority (magistrate)

01 certificate of celibacy (civilian candidates)

01 cardboard folder.

01 information sheet to be collected from the
human resources Department when submitting the file.
The candidates will pay a sum of 20,000 (Twenty thousand) francs CFA
against receipt, representing the costs of the Concour to the Department of
Human Resources of the Ministry of Defense.
